The Students’ Senate of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies ASE gladly invites you to take part in one of this summer’s most interesting educational experiences: Bucharest Summer University 2012. This eighth edition of the International Summer School, held annually in Bucharest, gathers professors and specialists from all over the world to discuss the topic of “Creativity and innovation for future businesses”.

I. PERIOD AND LOCATION
The courses will take place between the 12th and 26th of August 2012. Together with speakers and professors from top universities around the world, the 55 participants will spend 2 weeks in the Bucharest University of Economics ASE campus including one extended week-end exploring particular destinations across the country, chosen by the organizers for spare time.

II. APPLICATION & COSTS
There are three possibilities in order to apply for Bucharest Summer University 2012. Depending on the type of application you choose, you will have to send a set of documents, written in English, to our Recruitment Officer - at application@bsu.ase.ro.

1. STANDARD APPLICATION
Required documents:

• Application form
• Curriculum Vitae (in Euro Pass Format)

Costs: 530 euros
Application Deadline: 24th of June 2012
Students who choose a standard application will receive an answer concerning their acceptance in 7 days from the date of application!

2. PARTIAL COVERAGE OF EXPENSES
Required documents:

• Application form
• Curriculum Vitae (in Euro Pass Format)
• Letter of intent (Why should you be accepted for BSU 2012? How do you think this will benefit you in the future? Why do you need the partial coverage of expenses? - max. 500 words)

Costs: 265 euro
Application Deadline: 24th of June 2012

3. FULL SCHOLARSHIP
Required documents:

• Application form
• Curriculum Vitae (in Euro Pass Format)
• Letter of intent (Why should you be accepted for BSU 2012? How do you think this will benefit you in the future? Why do you need the full coverage of expenses? - max. 500 words)
• An essay on the following topic: “Why <<sharing>> is the future of businesses?”. The essay should have no more than 800 words written with Times New Roman, Size 12, Spacing 1,5.

The top 10 applications that were ranked highest after evaluation by our board of advisers received full coverage of costs.
We thank all the participants for applying! Students who apply for a full scholarship and do not receive one, will obtain a 50 € discount for a for partial payment application (if accepted). NOTE: Do not forget to check the correspondent options in the Application Form.

• Welcoming package (that you will receive upon your arrival)

What’s NOT included?
Transportation costs. Independent of the type of application you choose, tuition, accommodation (housing + 3 meals a day), one extended week-end trip, reading materials and the welcoming package you will receive upon your arrival, will be covered. All students must supply transportation costs at their own expense.

III. REFUND OF COSTS
Students, who would like to withdraw their application, after having already paid the participation fee, can obtain a refund of costs as follows:

• Until 15th of May 2012 - 50%
• Between 16th and 31st of May 2012 - 25%
• After 1st of June 2012 no refund of costs will be possible.
