Criteria: A $1,000 - $3,000 renewable scholarship awarded to incoming Portland State University freshmen and sophomores, who are the first member of their immediate family to attend a four year college with demonstrated financial need, a passion for their field of study, and who have shown academic achievement. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years provided the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA or better, completes 12 or more credits each term, and funding is available. A portion of this scholarship may be available for books or other tuition-related expenses. This scholarship is open to US citizens and International students with a valid student visa.
