The Academy of Korean Studies Korea

On-campus Dormitory Accommodation (Double Occupancy)

  • Each room is equipped with beds, desks, chairs, bookshelves, dressers, a shoe shelf, a phone, a toilet, a basin, a shower room and a wired internet connection.
  • The dormitory fee is KRW477,400 per semester, double occupancy. Meal is not included.
  • There is a communal kitchen with fridges, gas stoves and microwaves where students can cook.
  • Duvets, pillows and cooking appliances are not provided.


Libraries
We have Jangseogak Archives and a library.

  • Jangseogak Archives house about 100,000 volumes of books from Joseon Royal Court as well as around 40,000 documents from prominent scholar families.
  • The library houses books, periodicals and digitized data in the field of humanities and social sciences that are related to Korean studies.

Other Information

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available at the cafeteria at the rate of KRW2,500, KRW3,500 and KRW2,500 respectively.
  • Wireless internet connect is available in the GSKS building and the library.
