Positions for both doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows are available at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI). Our group’s interests lie at the nexus of micro/nanoengineering, biophysics, biology, and biotechnology, and we are focusing on developing integrated systems for high throughput quantitative micro/nanoscale analysis of molecular and cellular functions. We seek graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from a wide array of backgrounds (micro/nanoengineering, applied physics, biophysics, and cell and molecular biology) with demonstrated ingenuity, productivity, and ability to work in a diverse, high energy environment. We welcome inquiries about these openings, which should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and any published paper or manuscript in preparation (preferred electronic format: pdf). Applications for doctoral students will be preferred for those with master degrees and proven publication records.
