The School of Sociology and Social Policy is a vibrant, diverse and exciting centre for social science teaching and research. The School’s commitment to teaching and research that has an impact on society is reflected in the launch of these exciting Making a difference scholarships.

The scholarships can only be used as part-payment towards tuition fee costs and cannot be used in conjunction with any other School funding award. Applicants must be in receipt of an offer of a place to study on one of the following programmes before applying for a scholarship:

Up to 10 tuition-fee scholarships worth £1,500 each could be offered, for students applying to study full-time or part-time.

  • Closing date for home/EU awards: Friday 3 June 2011
