These scholarships will be awarded to DIKTI-sponsored Indonesian students whose research proposals align with Curtin research needs. They are designed to support transition to new English Language requirements.

Five in total:

  • Four (4) English Language Bridging courses (ELB) (17 weeks)
  • One (1) Intensive ELB scholarship (10 weeks)


Eligibility criteria
Applicants must:

  • be a DIKTI-sponsored students intending to study onshorse at the Bentley Campus
  • have a Letter of Offer for a humanities higher degree by research program or postgraduate degree for commencement in first semester 2013, and meet relevant course prerequisite and subject requirements
  • have an IELTS score (or equivalent) of no more than a 0.5 band or 1.0 band below the entry required for the chosen degree course
  • be able to commence ELB Intensive course in summer semester 2012 or ELB 17 week course in first semester 2013.
