University of Manchester Research Impact (Alumni) Studentships, UK

The University of Manchester is offering doctoral studentships to support alumni or current masters degree students to undertake PhD studies commencing September 2011 in one of the eligible ‘Research Impact’ priority research themes. The studentship offers up to £48,000 per studentship.

The criteria include:

  • Applicants must be currently studying for a masters degree at or a recent graduate of The University of Manchester
  • Only applicants who graduated from The University of Manchester within the last 4 years may apply for this award
  • Research projects must be related to on the University’s priority research themes and in one of the areas covered by the research interests of Manchester business school

Applicants also need to meet the entry requirements for admission to the PhD programme at Manchester Business School and have the support from the prospective supervisor(s) in Manchester Business School.
